Oracle Virtual Desktop Client: how to press CTRL+ALT+DEL ?

807797Feb 10 2011 — edited Mar 1 2011
Hi there,

is there any key combination that would allow a user of OVDC to send CTRL+ALT+DEL to a remote VM session without having to press said keys locally? The problem here: if you are on a Windows desktop chances are that pressing these keys will be interpreted by the local OS ... and not by the remotely running VM. Even if the local desktop OS is Linux chances are that it might interpret the key combo Ctrl+Alt+Del in unexpected ways ... And on Mac's there is no "Del" key.

Most other products have a "Send Ctrl+Alt+Del" menu entry somewhere (e.g. VirtualBox GUI), or they simulate this combination via e.g. Ctrl+Alt+Ins .... Is there anything similar for OVDC? Is there any way to send "Ctrl+Alt+Del" to a VDI desktop without having to actually press these keys?

Thanks in advance for your help :)
