ORACLE uses more memory than defined in MEMORY_MAX_TARGET

MynzMar 4 2016 — edited Apr 15 2016

Hello,

I have an instance running (11.2.0.4 on Win2008R2) which uses much more memory (12GB) than defined in MEMORY_MAX_TARGET (8GB).

We use BULKs and AMM, no MTS.

All checks I found give infomation on memory usage within these 8GB (actual PGA, SGA) and when summed up, they resulted in this 8GB.

Is there anything I can do on memory usage outside of PGA and SGA ?

Regards,

Mynz
