oracle universal installer cannot be run
Hi there..
regarding installation of Oracle 9i on Windows 2000 (PIII) in respect to the JRE. I've had a similar issue with 8i, as I have now w/installing 9i. I actually was able to install 8i once, then removed it, and ever since, I've been getting the same JRE error. Someone else told me it had something to do with environmental variables needed. This issue is common, and not very well documented. It's very frustrated, and I was hoping that you could enlighten me. I've installed the newest version of JRE... still, no dice. I even edited the ORAPARAM.INI, but that didn't work either. Help!!
