oracle standard edition / standard edition one licensing.

hi all,

Could you point to me the differences between Standard and Standard Edition One in terms on CPU/Licensing ?

Extracted from the Oracle Software Investment Guide

Oracle Database Standard Edition only can be licensed on servers that
have a maximum capacity of 4 sockets

When licensing Oracle programs with Standard Edition One or
Standard Edition in the product name, a processor is counted equivalent to an
occupied socket; however, in the case of multi-chip modules, each chip in the
multi-chip module is counted as one occupied socket.

I have Intel xeon quadcore CPU that is taking up one socket.

i) So it is counted as 4 chip thus 4 socket ?
ii) or it is consider as 1 socket ?
iii) do i still have to take note of the Oracle Processor Core Factor Table (the software investment guide doesnt say anything for SE)

Regards,
Alan
