Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler 4.1.5 bugs

hhsu68May 10 2017 — edited Jun 20 2017

I found the following bugs in Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler 4.1.5 and I was not sure how to pass this along to the appropriate people.

  • Cannot delete a Rule Set without first making a modification to the rule set
  • When saving domains, the error "Invalid Domains File Name. defaultdomains assumed" always appears and the Domains File field is always changed to defaultdomains
  • The Use Domain Constraints setting is not synchronized properly when forward engineering from the Logical model to the Relational model if the synchronization requires an update to an existing table column rather than creating a new table column from scratch
  • When forward engineering from the Logical model to the Relational model and there is an entity with a name corresponding to a glossary term, the name of the corresponding table is set to the plural form of the glossary term but the abbreviation for the corresponding table is not set to the abbreviated form of the glossary term.  This does not seem like consistent behavior and is counter-intuitive

If someone could forward this list of bugs to the right people, that would be appreciated.  Thanks.
