Oracle Sql Developer

Dear All,

I am using oracle 10G r2 on windows.

I downloaded sql developer for converting the ms sql database into oracle 10g database.

but the thing is that when i m trying to give third parti database driver to sql developer i.e.(jtds) driver its not updating the same.

can anyone tell me step by step driver update not online but offline updation for sql developer.

what i know is
1) go to tools and click on the "preference"
2) go to help
3) check for update.

but it not working please reply me if anyone know step by step of the driver update .
