We request Oracle’s roadmap and timeline for upgrading the SGG Landis & Gyr Adapter from the legacy CIM 1.0 (v2) standard to CIM 2.0.
Due to the compatibility gap between Landis & Gyr (CIM 2.0) and Oracle CCS (CIM 1.0 v2), CLP has implemented an interim OIC-based translation layer. While this ensures continuity, it introduces ongoing OPEX and unnecessary architectural complexity that could be avoided with native CIM 2.0 support.
CIM 1.0 is over 20 years old, obsolete, and will not be supported after CLP’s planned LNG platform upgrade in 2027. Continued dependence on this legacy version creates long‑term operational and design risks.
Upgrading the Oracle adapter to CIM 2.0 would remove the need for the OIC workaround, reduce recurring cost, and provide greater long‑term stability across CLP’s integration landscape.
We therefore request Oracle to share the roadmap and expected timelines for CIM 2.0 support in the SGG L+G Adapter.
Thank you,
Suraj S.
