Oracle RMAN backup recover or Netapp Snap Manager

Dears,
We have oracle 10.2.0.4 database with size 6TB on raw device and oracle 9.2 database with size 3TB on file system.
We use RMAN and Netbackup software (with rman) for database backup. but today I heard about Netapp Snap Manager.
Can you provide any information , differences netapp and rman? and the nagative aspect off netapp.
Why we must use netapp but not RMAN? Or Why we must use RMAN but not netapp?
