Oracle Reports with Barcode does not work in Linux Server 6.7

Harinath ArasuAug 3 2016 — edited Aug 30 2016

Hi,

We are moving legacy oracle reports from AIX server to a Linux server(Oracle fusion middleware 11g) with minimal changes to the report code.

Database: Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.1.0.2.0 - 64bit Production

Most of the reports did work, few of them which had a barcode functionality did not work.

I'm able to execute the same barcode report in the windows machine and the report builder did generate a fine output.

But when I try to copy the compiled .rep report to the new Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.7 (Santiago) and try to access the report over a report URL, just this barcode report wont generate and getting the following error.

REP-1401: A fatal PL/SQL error occurred in program unit before_report

ORA-39565: Message 39565 not found; product=RDBMS; facility=ORA

I tried to check this error and our report code did have all the fix mentioned in the following oracle support ticket

https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/SearchDocDisplay?_adf.ctrl-state=3pa2ajytn_53&_afrLoop=416090042385846

Note: REPORTS_DEFAULT_DISPLAY=YES  -- Just this setting alone we are not able to complete as the reports server wont restart and gets hung when this setting is made. We have tried all the following, still no luck. Does this setting cause the issue?
