Oracle Reports - Page Cutoff - Dynamic Page Size

Sooraj P GeorgeSep 26 2019 — edited Oct 29 2019

Hi,

I've an issue with Oracle reports. Scenario is as follows,

There are 3 types of meals are there, let's take breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Types of Coupons like,

X type - includes breakfast and Lunch

Y Type - includes breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Case 1 : Suppose customer purchased 3 X Type coupons. Then he'll get 3 Breakfast and 3 Lunch coupons.

Case 2: If he purchased 3 Y type coupons, then he'll get 3 Breakfast, 3 Lunch and 3 Snacks coupons.

The coupons will be printed in the order of Breakfast followed by Lunch and snacks.

In case 1, First print breakfast then Lunch then Paper cut off, then print the second breakfast and then lunch coupons, Paper cut off.

But in case 2, Paper cut off is only after printing the 3 meal type coupons.

So here in case1, Paper cut off will be after 2 coupon issued, then print rest 2.

But in case2, paper cut off will be after printing 3 coupons.

So the paper size should be in dynamic, other wise paper wastage may results.

Thanks in advance
