I am not sure how to get this to a section of the forums for Reports so I am hoping this is the right place.
We are currently running Oracle 11g enterprise.
On a windows 32bit 2003 r2 server we are running Oracle Reports 6i and a web application that uses it. Due to 2003 end of life we are needing to upgrade it to 64bit 2012 server.
A few questions:
1. Has anyone had any success in moving this to 64bit 2012 server? If so was there anything different that you needed to do to make it work?
2. Is it possible to move the reporting piece to its own server and off this web box?
3. What other reporting options are available to upgrade this if we are able?
4. If we can upgrade the reporting solution is there a way to convert existing reports built in the 6i version to the new solution?
