Hi, we have a Windows Server 2019 (VM on ESxi) where oracle 11g was replaced by 19c. Now the oracle.exe process has a very high CPU utilisation (up to 99%), not permanently, but repeatedly and obviously depending on what actions the user performs in the application. This goes down again after a few seconds, but leads to waiting times. As a first measure, we have increased the RAM from 16 to 32 GB. As a result, the Oracle process uses around 8 GB of RAM instead of 6. Unfortunately, this does not solve the speed problem. I am not a database specialist at all. Is this a known phenomenon? How could we find out the causes? Thanks!
