Oracle RAC with single IP/NIC

As Per Oracle RAC documentation setup, I read 3 different IP address for Private, Public, VIP needed. But In scenario, I have single NIC on ech node that participate in a cluster(2 node). Can I use same IP for Public,Private& VIP to set up 2 node cluster successfully ?

Can let me know what is the functional pros and cons having 3 different IPs vs having single IP.
