oracle rac 10g on vmware

hi all,
trying to install oracle rac 10g on vmware workstation 6.0.0 using rhel 5. in the process got to configure the vmware configuaration file (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.vmx). problem is that don't know how to edit the file so that i can add some text lines to signify the newly created scsi hdd on rac node 1.
