Oracle OleDB provider not listed in microsoft data link property

Hi all

I have searched through the forum and no helpful link has been found so far.

We are on windows server 2008 R2 and the Oracle OleDB used to work. The version is 11.2.0.3 32 bit(required by the application). Part of the oracle client was uninstalled(after the oracle server upgrade). Yes, we have both an oracle server and a 32bit client sitting on the same box with different oracle home.

Now, I have attempted to uninstall the 32 bit Oracle 11 client and re-install. Yes, I tried it over 5 times already. The Oracle OleDB still did not get listed in the MS data link property. Can you advise how the DLL is getting registered with the MS data link?
