Oracle ODBC Driver 9.20.8

I currently have 9.01.8 ODBC driver installed, I downloaded the 9.20.8 ODBC Driver but it does not install, when I execute the .exe and put it in my 9iorant folder the files that the "Read Me" states will be put out there are, but when I look at the Data Source (ODBC) it is still showing version 9.01.8. Is there a different ODBC Driver file I should be running than the one on http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/windows/odbc/index.html ? Our database is 9.20.8 and I need the upgraded version of the ODBC Driver for software connection. thanks
