Oracle Net Configuration Assistant failed.
Dear All,
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate.
with DHCP Setup Network.
I was installing Oracle 11gR2 on it but I faced problem with opening Enterprise Manager.
then i deinstalled it completely from my laptop.
after that i install it again but before installing i made some configuration:
1- Install Loopback adapter with IP:192.128.10.10.
2- edit hosts file like this:
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
127.0.0.1 localhost
::1 localhost
192.128.10.10 Ahmad-PC
In the middle of setup the below error occured:
[INS-20802] Oracle Net Configuration Assistant failed.
Cause - The plug-in failed in its perform method
Action - Refer to the logs or contact Oracle Support Services. Log File Location
C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory\logs\installActions2012-05-12_08-13-34PM.log
Could anyone help on this.
