oracle linux manager aka spacewalk - upgrade schema message

dbsmithUSAMay 16 2023 — edited May 16 2023

Hello! Its been a few months since I have installed, configured and registered clients in OLM v2.10 on oracle linux 7.9. The other day I logged into spacewalk and on the login-page I see the message “A schema upgrade is required. Please upgrade your schema at your earliest convenience to receive latest bug fixes and avoid potential problems.” I can login just fine and all seems normal with the app. My version of spacewalk (OLM) is running oracle DB 19c. Why is this message just now showing itself? Is there a how-to doc for this upgrade process? Can I ignore it? A yum update only shows two files to be upgraded all are for the kernel. The only doc I found required you to be a payed oracle customer and unforuntaley my company chooses not to be. thank you!
