Oracle Linux FTP server setup for dummies

Hello. I have a VirtualBox install of Oracle Linux (64bit) and can access the webserver fine, and a Samba folder, but I need to be able to FTP to the machine to look at a Peoplesoft app server log.

I don't believe the ftp server is setup in Linux. Is there an easy way to tell, or if not, how do I set it up? I'm a Linux newbie, so please explain it as you would to a child. My Linux skills are limited to cd, pwd, and ls.
