Oracle Linux for beginners with Docker, SSH and iptables

LyrwonApr 9 2020 — edited Apr 14 2020

Hi,

I want to try a software on Oracle Linux. First on a VM, later on an independent device

The manufacturer's instructions state that Oracle Linux> = 7.5 with UEK 4 or 5 is required. I also need Docker CE and SSH access.

The instructions say that I also need Docker CE, SSH, iptables, yum-config-manager, yum-utils and wget

I have actually tried 3 times.

Is there a good guide for inexperienced Oracle Linux users or can someone help me?

I need help from scratch. That means:

- i don't know where i can download the right Oracle Linux version

- i have no experience with yum ( i have only worked with apt on debian an ubuntu )

Thanks in advance
