Hello,
I was testing out Oracle Linux 8 on my RPI4/8G and things were all working as expected. I did a yum update and part of that update included a kernel update to : kernel-uek-5.4.17-2036.100.6.1.el8uek.aarch64.
After the reboot - my keyboard no longer functioned and I was unable to ssh to the PI.
I went through the following:
1. I tried the keyboard in each of the USB ports, no change.
2. Power Cycle - no change.
3. Power cycle and wait 30 min - no change.
4. At the grub menu I picked the older kernel -- no issues, everything worked
5. I removed the kernel-uek-5.4.17-2036.100.6.1.el8uek.aarch64 package, rebooted - all working.
6. Another yum update - back to broken again.
Anyone have any ideas on what to check? I had a look through /boot and everything appears to be in place (one file for each of the two kernel versions installed).
Cheers!
