Oracle Linux 8 Display Arrangement

user10318177Jun 20 2023

Hi There,

I installed Oracle Linux 8 on my Acer Notebook. I have an additional monitor witch is connected to HDMI port.

My notebook is at my left side and this other monitor is at may right side.

The problem is that SO does not recognize this setup at Display Arrangement on settings. I change the order but after applying it, the screen blinks and it turns back to the wrong position. With Ubuntu and Fedora, it works fine.

Additional information:

xrandr | grep -w connected
XWAYLAND1 connected 1366x768+1360+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 340mm x 190mm
XWAYLAND2 connected 1360x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 490mm x 270mm

xrandr -q

Screen 0: minimum 16 x 16, current 2726 x 768, maximum 32767 x 32767
XWAYLAND1 connected 1366x768+1360+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 340mm x 190mm

XWAYLAND2 connected 1360x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 490mm x 270mm

Please, do not suggest to invert the notebook and monitor positions. Unfortunately, I can not do it.

Thanks,

Ciro
