Hello. I've installed Oracle Linux 7.2 with Gnome shell 3.14.4 on a Lenovo Thinkpad. Frequently the system stops responding to mouse clicks. I can still move the cursor and applications respond normally to the keyboard. Sometimes only the active window responds to mouse clicks, but the others don't react or activate until I use the application switcher (Alt+Tab). I don't think that this is caused by the window manager because it also happens on Cinnamon and on XFCE. Also this can't be hardware related because it also happens with the touchpad. I don't see anything suspicious on the logs when this problem starts, dmesg and journalctl doesn't report anything related to graphical applications. This happens with three different updates of the 3.10 kernel (this laptop does not even boot with the UEK kernel). I saw on the Debian Forums a thread about this problem with the same version of gtk+, but there weren't any replies. The only "solution" is to close all windows, logout and then login, but this is very annoying (restarting gnome-shell with Alt-F2 r is useless). Any ideas on how to solve/diagnose this issue?
