Oracle Linux 6 - xen network device not recognized

jepvaAug 8 2011 — edited Jan 9 2012
I created a new guest machine based off the Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.1 iso (hardware virtualized), so far it does not recognize the network card. Lspci shows "unclassified xen device", which I'm assuming is the virtual net card it can't recognize. No eth0 shows up under ifconfig.

I tried switching between the paravirtualized and hardware network setting in VM Manager, unfortunately that had no effect it seems. The network card works fine on other guest VMs and is recognized by dom0, and it's also working fine on the VM Manager guest. So it would seem to be an issue specifically to the OEL 6.1. Any ideas?
