Oracle Linux 6.7 enable wi-fi hp laptop

invatacelulAug 31 2015 — edited Sep 1 2015

I've installed OEL 6.7 on my laptop and I can only use ethernet connections.

I run command: lspci and found Broadcom BCM4312 which I assume is the wireless adapter.

Yes, I know that OEL is designed for server use not as desktop, but I only have a laptop computer and I need it in order to learn administration.

I would like to know how can I use wi-fi networks. I googled and found some driver on Broadcom website.

Also, http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=239922, if it is helpful.

As I am a beginner in OEL/Redhat/Centos...please advice me how to solve this issue.

Your help would be very much appreciated and i would like your opinion beforeĀ  messing things up.
