Oracle install using localhost

Hi,

I have Solaris 11 installed on a single computer. Do I need to have loaclhost as my host for the listener to work correctly ? 

I have my host called Solaris not localhost. Why is localhost used when it is a single computer  and what should my etc/host file look like using localhost ?
