Oracle Database Discussions

i m using oracle 10g. it was working fine. i had installed oracle developer tool for .NET and one other component so that there are 3

oracle home ( the main one and two clien oracle homes ). the default home was the client one, wen i noticed that (in oracle universal

installer) i removed the unknown home (2 homes left now). it worked fine untill reboot. after reboot wen trying to start the oracle

services it gave me the error "
Oracle Initialization or shutdown in progress". i tried to solve it myself but in vain. i tried to remove the oracle developer tool, it

started and terminated at 3%( only the home was removed). i reinstalled it but the same error.

wen i tried to connect through Enterprize Manager, it told that ur database is mounted, open it to login. i tried the startup as well as

recovery process but all useless.

these errors appeared while working in Enterprize Manager :


- Io exception: SO Exception was generated
- 500 Internal Server Error
Servlet error: Invalid URL:
No controller "oracle.sysman.db.util.rec.Recovery.jspController"
exists corresponding to path"database/rec/recovery.jsp"
