Oracle HTTP server very slow

Hi there,

We have recently installed Oracle HTTP server, having previously used oracle's embedded HTTP server. Both are using the same network, but we find major speed differences between the two, the Apache HTTP server is much slower and sometimes grinds to a halt, when internet traffic on our network is high.

Anybody know why this would be?
