Oracle HTTP Server

718448Jul 23 2012 — edited Jul 24 2012
Greetings,

I am performing an install of EPM in a development environment on a single server - Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit.
All is going well, until I tried to configure the Web Server. In the Configurator, after selecting to "Configure Web Server" only, I don't see Oracle HTTP Server in the Web Server Type drop-down.
So, I've come to a conclusion that needed to install Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) during the install phase.

After reading this forum and others, I started the installer and tried to re-install OHS. But, i noticed that it was not selectable - it was greyed out.
So, I re-downloaded the part number from edelivery.oracle.com and unzipped it for the second time to my local machine. I figured I was missing the necessary files to get OHS installed.
Then I re-started the installer - but the OHS check box is still greyed out.

How can I "force" the installer to install OHS? Or, do I even need it? Can I just run with IIS and life will go on? (it is just a dev box)

Any thoughts would be great. Thanks so much, Paul
