Oracle Home is not Valid on TOAD

765051Apr 27 2010 — edited Apr 27 2010
hi,

I installed Oracle Database 11g (64-bit) on my 64 bit Windows Server 2008 R2 machine (Machine A).
On my PC (Machine B) "TOAD for Oracle Version 8.6" was installed. I could easily connect my database by using
this TOAD. However after I installed TOAD v. 8.6 (or higher version 10) on my Machine A (Database Server),
TOAD gave the message that the *"Oracle Home is not valid"* when I tried to connect database.

I couldn't manage to fix this message, and because of this I couldn't connect my database locally from my database server (Machine A)
by using TOAD v 8.6 or v. 10.

Is there any trick that I'm missing to do about TOAD or ORACLE?
