I often see master-detail forms developed with oracle forms developed with a master form block and a detail tabular block.
I am confused! why do I often see it like that. Why is not the master block also a tabular block? Is there a reason for that or is it just something developers used to?
I am asking because I believe that it would be far better if the master block is also a tabular block because it enables the user to see more records at a time without losing the detail of the current master record. Do not you think?
