Hello everybody,
I'm trying to install Oracle Forms and Reports 12.2.1.2.0 on Windows 2012 R2 Server 64bits downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/downloads/index.html, file fmw_12.2.1.2.0_fr_win64_Disk1_1of1.zip.
Previously I installed Weblogic Server 12.2.1.0 downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/downloads/wls-main-097127.html generic installer fmw_12.2.1.2.0_wls_Disk1_1of1.zip using JDK version 1.8.0_121.
The Oracle home of Weblogic is C:\app\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home. This information is obtained from the response file generated in the installation of Weblogic.
The installation type was Weblogic Server and after the weblogic installation I created a new domain in C:\app\oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\base_domain using only the template Basic Weblogic Server Domain - 12.2.1.2.0 [wlserver]. The domain mode selected was Production.
After the installation I could connect to the Weblogic console via web.
When I want to install Oracle Forms and Reports 12.2.1.2.0 I've two questions:
1.- In the third step you have to put an Oracle Home. I don't know which folder I've to set.
In the Oracle documentation, https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/12212/formsandreports/install-fnr/GUID-EBBA8709-F563-469C-9D2F-F308AF4E60C5.htm#FRINS201, in Installing Oracle Forms and Reports in a New Oracle home section says Oracle Forms and Reports must be installed inside an Oracle home directory, which is created when Oracle WebLogic Server is installed. Oracle Forms and Reports must be installed in its own Oracle home directory that it does not share with any other Oracle Fusion Middleware products of a different version. then I choose for example C:\app\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\Oracle_FRHome. This is correct?
2.- In the fourth step you have to choose the installation type between Standalone Forms Builder and Forms and Reports Deployment. I want to install Forms and Reports services to deploy an application then I choose the Forms and Reports Deployment option but at the bottom of the screen it's shown the following message: Unable to find dependent featuresets for the selected installation type "Forms and Reports Deployment". Please select a valid installation type. Select a different install type or provide a different Oracle Home having all dependencies.
Are these two steps related?
How can I avoid the previous message to install the Oracle Forms&Reports services?
