Hey everyone,
I had recently installed oracle database 11g xe and developer suite 10g on my system
But the main issue i am facing here is that i cannot connect the forms builder with the database
im using the correct username, password and database name but everytime it gives me the same error ie.
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
I have tried searching for various solutions to this problem but alas nothing works
i have tried copying the tnsnames and sqlnet from the database folder to the config folder in the developer suite folder
but that also isn't working
I have also made a source of the database in the odbc but that also doesnt work
im currently running on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
im a big noob when it comes to oracle as i have just started using it
so can anyone please tell me how do i connect the forms builder to the database
and point me in the right direction
please refraim from using difficult codes as im a big noob at this
also i am new to this community
