Oracle Forms 12c - SSO SAML integration without OAM

Greetings to all,

We have an Oracle 12c FMW Forms/Reports application that needs to integrate with a federated, enterprise SSO solution. Its evident that Oracle suggests the purchase and use of OAM/OID to integrate with SSO.

Has anyone successfully implemented a solution to integrate the Oracle Forms 12c with SSO via SAML, without OAM?
