826307Dec 23 2010 — edited Dec 24 2010
Hello Everyone,

Warm Regards,

I am installing an application which needs Oracle 10G database on Redhat Enterprise Server 5.5 and installed the Oracle Server and Client on different machines and tested the communication it looks good. While installing the application it is verifying the database and making external procedure calls. During this process the installation fails is unable to proceed forward. Can you please look at the below error it is generating and suggest me the right way. I checked th previous post and it says that the DLL path is not set properly and other aspects ... As I am totally new to oracle and have very less hands on expertise I would highly appreciate your inputs on this regard.

Below is the error in the log file -

ORACLE : Connecting to Oracle ...
ORACLE : Creating library LibExtCall ...

Library created.

ORACLE : Creating function ExternalCall ...

Function created.

ORACLE : Calling function ExternalCall ...
Declare
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-28595: Extproc agent : Invalid DLL Path
ORA-06512: at "SYSTEM.EXTERNALCALL", line 1
ORA-06512: at line 5

Please advice. Prompt response would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sushil
