We are analyzing the Exadata requirements and I have the following questions.
1. If we load our oracle data bases in Exadata (primary database) is it possible to create a DR database in an IBM AIX power system (64 bit)?
2. Is it a must to use the Rac functionality in Exadata.
3. How the redundancy works in Exadata (to avoid single point of failure).
4. If we use the current Netbackup setup what kind of backup/restore speed we will get. If you wanted to store the backup in disk is additional storage layer we have to buy?
5. What options Exadata provides if we wanted to move some database to the cloud architecture.
