appreciate your help and guidance in this regards.
I have a Oracle VM box configured with windows 2008 R2 Server OS.
Have installed Oracle 11g Database, created a database instance and configured the requisites to further install Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c.
Every time when i reboot my Windows 2008 Server, i have a very tough time starting the OMS server
have to do a couple of permutations and combinations for starting the services and getting the login page of EM 12c
Below error is most frequently encountered one : -
E:\EnterpriseMgr\middleware\oms\BIN>emctl start oms

Windows service OracleManagementServer_EMGC_OMS1_1 failed to be started
Oracle Management Server is Down
Please check E:/EnterpriseMgr/gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS1\sysman\log\emctl.log for error details
E:\EnterpriseMgr\middleware\oms\BIN>
In the services I checked for all permutations, (starting the service automatically / manually / automatic with delayed start, etc) but none helped till date.
Can anybody please guide on a solution to this challenge.
Before shooting the above emctl command from Admin. Dos prompt, I always ensure to verify Database and listerner are up and running - connect to it and fire a query.
Oracleagent12c1Agent - is also started.
Oraclee_enterp~1_middle~1_omse_enterprisemgr_gc_inst_em_emgc_oms1ConfigurationManager - Started
Oraclee_enterp~1_middle~1_oracle~2e_enterprisemgr_gc_inst_webtierih1ConfigurationManager - started
OracleManagementServer_EMGC_OMS1_1 --> Fails to start after multiple tries.
I have also tried to stop webtier and then restart oms.
emctl stop oms and then run emctl start oms
this pattern used to work earlier, somehow its not working as on-date.
Technically, I am Not from a Database / Enterprise Manager Administration Background - But an Automation Tester.
Am trying to explore the Real Application Testing and Test Data Management n Masking Packs within Enterprise Manager 12c.
