We are planning to install and integrate Endeca with EBS 12.2.7 and use the following

Oracle Learning Management Information Discovery Plus

Oracle TeleService Information Discovery Plus

Oracle Human Resources Information Discovery Plus

Oracle iStore Information Discovery Plus

Oracle Financials Information Discovery Plus

Oracle Field Service Information Discovery Plus

Oracle Order Management Information Discovery Plus

Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Information Discovery Plus

Oracle Depot Repair Information Discovery Plus

According to the note 2214431.1 , Information Discovery is supported with only Oracle Linux 6 and Red Hat 6 . But in the installation documents for "Endeca Information Discovery Studio","Endeca Information Discovery Integrator" and "Endeca Server" in http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/endeca/documentation/documentation-1544963.html it says it is certified with Windows 2012.

Could you please guide me in understand the difference in these installation ?
