Oracle Discoverer not connect to 10g database

I have downloaded the BI tools and installed on my PC. But i have already installed 10g on my PC. Now when i installed Discoverer Desktop and want to connect to 10g Database then error occured as

unable to connect to:system@orcl
failed to connect to the database - ORA-12154 TNS: could not resolve the connection identifier specified.

Other thing, i noted, in admin directory, there is no listner.ora and tnsnames.ora file exist.

i installed the BI tools in the same directory where oracle 10g installed.

plz tell me this solution how i resolve this problem.
