Oracle disaster recovery plan

Hi all,

I am working on oracle 10g enterprise edition(10.2.0.4) on Solaris 10(Sun spark M4000 server )single instance database.Now i want to create a DR solution(oracle standby database).What are the basic and advance areas i have to take care of while planning for a DR. Also i want some DR planning and checklist document.Please help me.
