Oracle DBA Interview Questions---Pls Answer them

Hi ALl,
Could you please answer the below questions.They have been asked in the DBA interviews:
1)How much memory one should allocate to SGA,shared pool,buffer cache and log buffer out of the total server memory.
2)What will happen to the current transaction if the tablespace containing the object is taken offline.
3)What actually happens in the background after the insert is fired.
