ORACLE DBA Career Path?

Hi DBA's,

Now i am working as a Monitoring tools admin in IT from past 5 years.we are having less opportunities in monitoring domain, There is no career growth in my domain since monitoring tools is using only 10 companies.

I would like to move in to ORACLE DBA.

Is an Oracle DBA career a good choice, How about oracle career in another 10 years. Please advise
