Oracle DB new Storage allocation

Hi Forum ,

We have a setup of Oracle 11G(linux), we are using storage(SAN) for providing additional space to our DB.

But now we are running out of storage on our 11g DB and existing storage cannot be extended as this storage model is out of sale.

Now our management is planning to take new storage from another vendor and provided new storage is on network and is reachable from DB server. Same storage is availble in our infra.

Our only aim is that do we face any issue as exisiting storage is from other vendor and new storage from where we will take further LUN to incraese the capacity is from different vendor?

Idealy i suppose that they would be no issue, Need your advice over the same.
