I need to work on some timelines for multiple Database Upgrades from version 8.x,9.x,10.x to 11g.
I have worked out the estimates for DB upgrade from 10g to 11g. But I need help on preparing the timelines for upgrade and cross platform migration from version 8.x and 9.x to 11g.
Can I just go ahead and add 20% more for 9i to 11g upgrade and platform migration from Solaris to Linux and 40% more time for upgrade from 8i to 11g and migration from Solaris to Linux.This is based on the assumption other factors remain the same.
Please share your experiences on the same.
