Oracle database Migration (9i - 9.2.0.6.0 to 12c - 12.1.0.2.0)

Hi there.

We are migrating an Oracle database from 9i to 12c and we would like to know whether the PLSQL cartridge on the current application server will talk to the new DB server. We are not going to change the application server which is install in another machine we are only going to redirect it to the new DB server with the new Oracle version.
