Oracle Database Install on Redhat 7 - 32 and 64 bits Libraries

Hi,

I am prepare to install Oracle 12 on Redhat 7.1, but I have a small question.

Why documentation "Oracle Database Installation Guide for Linux" section 4.8.1 (Packages for Oracle Linux 7 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7)

tell to install both i686 and x86_64 versions of libraries ?

What is the use of i686 libs on 64bits system ?
