oracle database for SAP

Hi,

For SAP, the oracle database installation part is via their media.

For bundle patches, also downloaded via SAP portal.

I'm a DBA and rather new to SAP. For now doesn't have access to SAP portal to check with the support there so trying to check whether anyone has experience with it.

Is the oracle binary from oracle directly slightly different for an SAP system?
