My environment : Oracle 12C standard on Windows 2012 R2 X64
During installation I did not select sample schemas. So I am trying to install the winx64_12102_examples downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/database12c-win64-download-2297732.html
when I try to execute the setup for Examples, I get error Oracle Database Examples can only be installed into an existing Oracle Home. A search on this forum shows user have been getting this error in versions prior to 12C. Does any one know the cause and fix to this issue ? I have not created any environmental variables for Oracle_home and Oracle_base. But screenshot of Oracle_Base and Oracle_home registry keys is at the bottom of this message.
