I'm having issues attaching our Oracle database to Visual Studio Express 2015. I'm assuming the issue may be the fact that it is the express version. My specific software/platform information is as follows:
Windows 7 64 bit
Oracle 11g and Oracle 12 are both loaded.
Visual Studio Express 2015
However I do have some questions for those of you who write code in Visual Studio:
1) Have any of you had success in connecting your Oracle database to a version of Visual Studio Express? If so, what version do you use?
2) If you do use Visual Studio Express 2015 and have made good connections with your Oracle database, could you direct me to specific instructions on how to set up VS Express 2015 to connect?
3) If you are using a "full version" of Visual Studio and have connections to an Oracle database, which version of Visual Studio do you use?
Please feel free to offer comments, suggestions that may help me make a decision on what version will work best.
