we would like to install our servers via the Software Deployment tool SCCM.
We have packaged the Oracle Database Client and tried to deploy it in SCCM within an Task Sequence.
Unfortunately, the Oracle Client breaks the SCCM installation. All steps in the Task Sequence after the installation of the Oracle Client are aborting with unspecific errors.
The installation of the Oracle Client works great with SCCM (I can see in the logs), but all other steps are not working.
I tried the Oracle Database Client 12.2 x86 and the Instant Client. Also, I can't logon to the OS, there is a black screen.
The manual installation of the Oracle package without SCCM is working, so the issued must be something with the Oracle client in combination with SCCM.
Anyone successfully installed the Oracle client with an SCCM Task Sequence?
